Simple terms for a simple app.

By downloading, installing, or using Tirade ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These terms apply to the macOS app distributed through the Mac App Store. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the App.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, subject to these terms and the Mac App Store usage rules.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you attempt to reverse-engineer or extract its source code.

Certain features of the App require a paid subscription ("Tirade Pro"). Subscriptions are managed and billed by Apple through the Mac App Store.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

We do not process payments directly and do not have access to your payment information.

You agree not to use the App to:

• ∙ Record or transcribe conversations without the consent of all participants where required by law.
• ∙ Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• ∙ Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or gain unauthorised access to any system or network.
• ∙ Use the App in any way that could harm, disable, or impair its normal operation.

The App, including its design, code, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other intellectual property beyond the limited licence above.

Any feedback you provide about the App may be used by us without restriction or compensation.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. The Privacy Policy explains what data the App processes and how.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that transcription output will be accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate them at any time by deleting the App. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without notice, if you breach these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of France.
